Williams identified a battery pack issue on the morning of the Belgian Grand Prix (round 10) and fitted a new Energy Store and Control Electronics unit. The Control Electronics unit was his fourth, one over the season allocation, drawing a 10-place grid penalty (qualified 15th, started 19th); the Energy Store brought him to his third, still within allowance.
