First control electronics unit failed before the start in China (round 2, DNS); the second was withdrawn after Free Practice issues in Japan (round 3). A fourth control electronics unit, fitted with reliability fixes for round 10 (Belgian Grand Prix), exceeded the season allocation and drew a confirmed 10-place grid penalty there (qualified 3rd, started 13th). Also swapped gearboxes after a round 5 failure; the current box must last through round 11.
